In the rural town of Valtellina in northern Italy, a young Diego grew up watching Nonna Nina creating the most delicious home cooking - the aroma of fresh herbs simmering, the sight of dough kneading, the sound of quick knife-cutting… the seed of culinary passion was sown as he watched with curiosity (and a big appetite!).
